The opportunity:
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a huge digital transformation to create a world-class digital user experience. This organization is already seen as a leader in its field but has decided to take things to a whole new level. They have made a serious commitment with the buy in of the senior leadership to completely overhaul their operating model to incorporate a much larger digital element. The next step is where you come in.
You will be working as part of a 5-person team and also be part of a much larger workplace experience group.
Key elements of the role will include:
- Research, recommend, and implement changes to standard operating procedures to enhance identity management.
- Support audit efforts related to Information Security.
- Support the Identity and Access Management Product strategy to enhance user experiences in the access and use of critical systems and data.
- Maintain, modify, and monitor throughout each user’s or device’s access lifecycle to ideally the one digital identity per individual or item.
- Responsible for analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of all layers of IAM applications.
- Standardise and automate critical aspects of managing identities, authentication, and authorisation, to optimise efficiency and reduce risk to the University.
- Establish and maintain least privilege.
- Authorization/Authentication and Account Creation/Management/Provisioning in data repositories.
- Conduct root cause analysis and make recommendations for improving IAM processes and preventing end user access issues.
- Ensure data consistency and timely provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts.
- Work with the Cloud Enablement team to ensure a full cloud IAM picture to assess, prioritize, and remediate improper permission combinations that grant unintended or overly permissive access.
Your past experience and skill set:
- Proven experience managing key business software applications.
- An ability to perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework and experience using it to enhance IT service management.
- Proven ability to identify and interpret end-user needs.
- A good understanding of software delivery lifecycle processes.
- A strong foundation in Agile practices such as scrum and Kanban.
- Experience with IT audit and compliance (SOC 1 & 2 and/or SOX) would be a massive advantage.
- Demonstrated experience with creating and managing a robust RBAC would be a massive advantage.
